So one may say: who is in the Sun Belt and better yet do we care. Well is the Sun Belt like the Mountain West....no but hidden talent does exist. It seems without a doubt Western Kentucky will probably be the cream of the crop in the Sun Belt. They will have plenty of chances early in the season not only to make noise for themselves but the entire league with the first two games of the season being at Tennessee and South Florida at home. That's considered a tough non conference stretch even for a top 25 team but Western Kentucky can handle it. North Texas and Troy could get bowl eligible but the rest of the Sun Belt will struggle to get to .500. As far as Troy or North Texas making a run at the title..........as Lee Corso would say........not happenin sweetheart. WKU will have a great shot at going unbeaten in conference play and depending on how they do outside the Sun Belt could give them a very very nice season.
Favorite: Western Kentucky- BY A MILE
Bad News Bears: Arkansas State - just the worst of the worst in the bottom half of a league that is just not good.
MVP: David Wolke- yes he had more pics than TD's last year but his arm may be the least of a defences woes. His speed is BCS material and assuming the arm got better and brain smarter we could be lookin at a pretty good ballplayer
