Where will Vick fit Or better yet who wants him
Now that Vick is conditionally reinstated the question comes up "Where will he play" along with "Will he be as good as he was". I'll answer the second question first, Vick will be in good shape and will still have the ability to burn defences with his feet right out of the gate. His arm will be fine once the rust is shaken off and he gets in a normal practice routine. I think he is to explosive and to bi of a game changer to be a back up QB and there is no way he plays another position. People say "well he wasn't a great passer" well he became much better in the NFL and his arm is like a cannon. Now does he have a Favre fastball no but he can throw hard and a long way with fairly good accuraacy. Now as for where he plays well New England seems to be mentioned a lot but to me makes no sence considering they have Brady and got rid of Cassell, Vick will not play something other than QB and is too good to be a back up. Teams that I think would fit for Vick are the : Vikings, Bills, 49ers, Titans, and Panthers. Being a Packers fan I don't want to see him as a Viking but for them it makes sence. Travares Jackson isn't a championship calliber QB and they are one QB playmaker away from being really good. Not to mention if Vick did play for the Vikings they could run a system very similar to the one at Florida which would make Percy Harvin more comfortable and therefore more effective and you have Addrian Petterson at HB and you have a offence cappable of embarrasing even the best defences. I say Buffalo because they are another team who needs a leader behind center as well as a guy who can get himself out of trouble. Vick accomodates both of those things and he'd be paired with TO and if all worked properly could give Buffalo a solid offence. The 49ers are an easy fit mainly because just about anything is better than what is in place. The O-line is non existant and there are 0 playmakers that can be counted on week in and week out. Vick can make plays even without help if he has to and he would ensure the niners win at least once. Tennesee is in need of a guy they can count on. Yes Collins had an exceptional year but is that really going to help them in 5 years. Nope and Vince Young has potential but Tennesee isn't real fond of him. Vick could be a long term fix for a team that is o so close. Finally Carolina would end the days of boring dull offence led by Jake Delhome. Is Delhome good enough to start somewhere yes, is he a solution to getting Carolina a title, No. The Panthers lack a spark in an offence that can be really good given the right tools. kind of like a sports car lacking a powerfull engine. While Delhome doesn't out right lose games he doesn't win em either. Vick can, just ask Carolina a few years ago when Vick put Atlanta on his back and gave them a W to win the division. Vick can spark the Panthers attack with his feet and arm but his ability to make things happen by himself opens the door even more for Steve Smith. Regardless where he plays he is good enough to make a difference somewhere this year and maybe fill in the lone missing link for a contender. Kyle
