PGA Championship Round 2 wrap up

Well a solid day again for world #1. Tiger fires a ho hum -2 70 and well no one else was able to follow his lead. Well......ok Ernie Els did put himself in contention with a 68 today after a 75 day 1, but still he's 6 back. Now if anyone looks at the leaderboard you would think anyone at E or better still has a shoot.......but theres one problem..........they are chasing a Tiger Woods that to this point has been spot on. Did I mention how good of a front runner he is? No? well let me give you a hint..with the lead after 2 rds at a major with a share or outright lead he is 8-0. Oh and if he has the lead after tomorrow's 3rd round that number jumps to 14-0. However there are solid and capable players to pressure Tiger at -3 for the tournament. Vijay Singh and Padraig Harrington are both at that number along with Ross Fisher. Phill couldn't make the run he needed but did make a heck of an eagle on 7 to make the cut on the number. Sergio you ask well how does a 78 sound and a missed cut after a solid 1 under par round yesterday so he will have at least 1 more year before he can win his first major. So looking to this weekend here are the questions that decide the tournament (if one believes it already isn't over) Can someone in the E to -3 group make a run at Tiger making him feel a little pressure anyway? Second will Tiger continue to play basically clinical golf. If that is a yes it doesn't matter who makes a run because Tiger is already 4 ahead and well if someone can't get the lead from him tomorrow......based on his record it's goodnight sweetheart. -Kyle
